How to Achieve in 1 Day What Others Do in 1 Week (5 Steps)
Summary
The best entrepreneurs & CEOs are those who, on top of working hard, also work the smartest. In this video, I discuss how and why the key to outsized returns in life and business is simplification and leverage.

If you've been in the business
world for long enough, you know that execution
eats strategy for breakfast in this video, I'm
going to share a few principles that allow the
best entrepreneurs and solopreneurs to do in one
day, what others do in one week, let's get to it.
I am the CEO & Founder of Selfmastered, which is a
high-performance training company. We help
entrepreneurs and business leaders scale the
business by teaching them a core high performance
skill that allow them to operate at peak potential
with managing their businesses. So today's video
is about my favorite topic, really, because if you
think about it, there's a few people that have an
incredible impact in the world. But all this they
just work themselves to death. And nobody ever
notices what they are do. So to me,
intrapreneurship is really all about consistent
execution is about sustaining a personal
performance level that allows you to be consistent
on the right thing for long enough to get results.
And today's video is about sharing the framework
that we walk our clients through to get that
incredible level of impact. And it all starts by
simplifying, the number one thing you want to do,
if you want to have outsized returns on time and
attention spent is simplified, you need to do less
of everything that you're doing. And way more or
just the one or two things that actually moved the
needle. A scaling your business is really about
understanding what is the bottleneck that you have
in your business right now. And solving that
bottleneck once and for all because each system
and your business is one system will grow until
the level of the next bottle. So instead of doing
1000 different things, you need to just do what
matters. The key thing here is understanding what
it is that actually matter to was the thing that
is preventing you from growing, because if you are
stuck in your business alive, it's probably not
because you're not trying hard enough, it's
because you're not doing the thing that need to be
done. In the end running enthusiastically in the
wrong direction is a surefire way of becoming
miserable. And burning out in the process to once
you understand exactly what it is that you should
be working on, then you need to intentionally
design the execution protocol that will allow you
to solve that bottleneck and graduate to a higher
level of function in your life and your business.
And in this stage is creating the right goals and
the right systems. So that execution comes
naturally at this stage, what you need to know is
how to design those goals. Because if those goals
are not ambitious enough, if God for say, you
create a web of SMART goals, which is very dumb to
do, then you're going to be lacking motivation,
you're going to be leaving a lot of potential on
the table. If on the other side, you're too
ambitious, and you're really setting incredibly
high goals. big, hairy audacious goals, then
you're probably going to burn out in the process
because you are performance, it's just not ready
to chase those big hairy audacious goals, you need
to find the balance that allows you to be
consistently excellent in the pursuit of that
goal. And the three is intentional design of your
performance framework. See, once you know what you
should be working on and you have the correct
execution protocol. Now it's all about
performance. It's about amping up your own
performance, to be able to sustain that effort. At
this stage. You need to optimize how you sleep,
how you eat, how you move, how you breathe, how
you meditate, how you relate to others. So you're
an optimal psychological state to execute on the
right things, anything and everything that is not
aligned with that goal that you created for
yourself in your performance is just not aligned
with the execution and therefore not aligned with
the goal that you're chasing, to just going to
fail. So if you're really willing to do something
difficult, then you probably should architect how
you live and how you work to get to that place.
What does this mean? It means that if you're
consistently putting in six 810 hours of pure
focus in your business, then your sleep protocols,
your eating protocols, your breathing protocols
need to be on point because being focused for 10
hour every day is very demanding for the brain. So
you cannot do anything that is not aligned with
that goal. Because you have decided that 10 hours
of focus every day is exactly what allows you to
get to that goal. If you want to do in one day
when others do in a week. You need to be mindful
about everything you do and discard anything and
everything that doesn't serve that goal. Now if
this is resonating for you remember to subscribe
and like This video so we can keep publishing
videos that help people like you reach that next
level, and we can get to more people and help more
people. Let's get to it four is algorithmic
execution of the right thing. So your brain isn't
wired for success isn't wired for getting the
goals you want. It's wired for survival, which
implies that it has the tendency to become
distracted, that oftentimes it will even invent
phantom stimuli to get you derail, to get you out
of the task, if you're not primed for focus, so
you need to be disgustingly consistent on the
right things. And that is achieved by creating
execution and behavioral protocols that allow you
to not think when you need to do the things you
need to do, because the best of the best do not
need to think about how they perform peak
performers come naturally to them. And that's what
we help our clients do that they can be their best
self, in this poor of the moment. And that's done
through the intentional design of our rock
behavioral algorithms. Over the years, we've
bought this to a peak performance operating system
that we teach us have mastered, that allows our
clients to basically get into their performance
mode without much friction, it's all about nudging
yourself using the nudges, which is a concept that
comes from behavioral science to perform at your
best on autopilot. And finally, five at this
point, the only thing that can derail you is once
you have a clear understanding of what problem are
you solving. Once you know what goals and systems
you need to be executing on to get a solution for
that problem once your personal performance is
fully optimized. So you're able to work as many
hours as it is needed to get to those goals. And
then four, you have a clear behavioral stack that
allows you to operate at peak performance without
much friction. The only thing that's missing at
this point is believing you can do it is having
the correct narrative and belief system that
allows you to sustain these peak performance in
the long term. Because if you do not believe
you're able to do it, if you do not understand how
to filter reality to your own Birdman, at some
point, you're going to lose faith on what you're
doing. And that's the last thing we want. Because
if you're working on the right things with the
right amount of intensity, then self belief is the
thing that you should be focusing on to make sure
that everything ends up the way it should. And you
solve the bottleneck and graduate to the next
step. So as a recap, remember, one understand what
is the bottleneck. So what is exactly the same you
should be working on to design an execution
protocol, with the proper goals and system that
solves that bottleneck in a different manner. So
you don't need to work on that anymore. Three
Performance Framework. How can you bring your best
self every day? How can you optimize your sleep,
your breathing, your meditation, pretty much all
your physiological processes to make sure that you
can sustain the necessary execution. And then for
how to design your behavioral stack, how to make
sure that peak performance for you is not a burden
is an actual blessing. So you're able to be your
best self nearly on autopilot because you have
complete control over your habits and your
behavior. And finally, five update your personal
narrative create a belief system that empowers you
to take action every single day so you do not
second guess yourself. There's no self doubt that
prevents you from growing if you do these five
things you will do in a day when all this do in a
week. Because you won't lose time chasing the
meaningless you will not second guess yourself.
You will not spend time thinking about what's the
next best thing you can do. Everything will be
clear from the get go. And peak performance will
be the natural emergence. I hope this was useful.
